Capture the Full PictureHow it works? The BubbleScope® StoryThe Future

Handheld operation - While there are no real rules for how to use any camera, the BubbleScope® captures ‘less disorientating’ panoramas if held up straight, with the tip facing towards the sky and the base towards the ground. A bubble level integrated into the top and a gravity bead integrated into the base assist with capturing perfectly level panoramas with a level horizon all the way around.

If you want to be in your bubbles, then hold the BubbleScope® to your side. If you don’t want to be in your bubbles, then hold the BubbleScope® above your head and use the gravity bead to get the level right. Like all cameras, the BubbleScope® will create sharper images the better you can hold it still.
Universal mounting on a tripod - The base of the BubbleScope® unscrews to reveal a universal tripod mount.
Self-standing operation - Removal of the base also reveals a flat surface for standing.
BubbleScope® is unlike any other camera you have seen. Instead of pointing it at an object and capturing a ‘subjective’ image or photo, you position the BubbleScope® in your desired location and shoot a 360º bubble, which creates a ‘point-of-view’ photography style, where the entire scene surrounding the scope is captured in an instant.

BubbleScope® images equally above and below the horizon, giving you a 104º vertical field-of-view, equivalent to a 15mm lens in portrait orientation. To shoot a bubble, simply hold the BubbleScope® at arm’s length and shoot. Alternatively you can stand the BubbleScope® on its base or on a tripod and use the self-timer.
BubbleScope® works with Windows 2000 or XP and Mac OS version 10.2.7 or higher. Simply transfer your source bubble images onto the hard disk of your PC or Mac via USB 2.0.

BubbleScope® ships with its own unique software to assist you in easily transforming the source images into either; high-resolution JPEG ‘panoramic photos’ for print, medium resolution JPEG ‘normal photos’ for print or QTVR ‘immersive bubble movies’ for interactive playback on a computer.

BubbleScope® ‘panoramic photos’ and ‘normal photos’ can be printed or shared like any other JPEG image files.

BubbleScope® ‘immersive bubble movies’ are saved as a unique format called QuickTime Virtual Reality (QTVR), which can only be viewed using Apple’s QuickTime player, which ships on the CD-ROM included with each product. This software is also available as a free download from Apple’s website using this link.

BubbleScope® QTVR movies can be saved on your computer, shared by email, published on the Internet and embedded into multimedia documents & presentations.
