Throughout the ‘70’s, 80’s
and 90’s microelectronic computing devices revolutionised
the way in which we communicate. In the ‘50’s
and ‘60’s only corporations, governments and defence
organisations could afford the
latest technology. In 2005 the latest technology is in the
home, across all continents, connecting individuals, enabling
collective minds and opening up new creative ways of communicating.
We live in a highly mobile and visually expressive society;
we also live in a world full of rich panoramic beauty.
BubbleScope Ltd was formed in 2004 - with a mission to define
a whole new category in the field of digital imaging and to
encourage ubiquitous use of ‘immersive’ VR media
by breaking down the barriers, which currently exist between
‘potential users’ and ‘the technology’,
therefore encouraging new markets through novel and
unconventional application of this exciting media.
BubbleScope Ltd forecast that within two years, handheld 360º
panoramic or cycloramic cameras will be commonplace, as personal
standalone cameras, integrated with mobile phones and talking
to other devices through wireless technologies; resulting
in the enhanced communication of experiences, remote security,
photojournalism
and situation recording.
BubbleScope Ltd will exploit the brand leadership of handheld
360º electro-optical devices by developing a full range
of 360º products aimed at future video, security and
military applications, through the development of commercial
relationships with companies that have proven channels to
market and the strategic alliance with companies providing
appropriate technology.
The company will own all appropriate IP by development or
acquisition and strive to maintain brand leadership and market
position through the development of new products and concepts.
The technology will be exploited through royalties, licensed
manufacture or the sale of design rights. |
